What does this mean?
We have been told for over 2,000 years that war would be an increasing feature of life. We have been and are witnesses to that.
Matthew 24: 6 – 7– You will hear of wars and rumours of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Luke 21: 9– When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”
Daniel 9: 26– The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolationshave been decreed.
Joel 3: 9 – 10– Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Rouse the warriors! Let all the fighting men draw near and attack. Beat your plow shares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, “I am strong!”
